Dr. Ravinder Sharma, M.S. (Ayurveda), one of India’s most distinguished Ksharsutra consultants, is a postgraduate in Ayurvedic surgery from SKAU, Kurukshetra, the world’s first AYUSH University. He graduated with a Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) degree in 2006 from one of the best colleges in India, Shri Dhanwantry Ayurvedic College & Hospital, Chandigarh, and completed his post-graduation in Shalya Tantra – Samanya, i.e., General Surgery, from Shri Krishna AYUSH University, Kurukshetra.
Dr. Ravinder Sharma has done extensive research in Ksharsutra since his postgraduation period, where he conducted his original study on Fistula-in-Ano titled “Preclinical Evaluation of Standard Ksharsutra Ingredients on Causative Organisms of Bhagandara and Comparative Study of Efficacy of Modified & Standard Ksharsutra on Bhagandara W.S.R. I had visited at Piles To Smiles for the puss discharge and pain near anus but dr ravinder diagnosed that I have been suffering from Fistula. He elaborated about the different kinds of surgical procedure for the treatment of it and also mentioned that chances of recurring is higher with other treatment than Kshar Sutra treatment. I was suffering from anal fistula since 14 years when i consulted Dr Ravinder. I had 3 unsuccessful surgeries before ksharsutra treatment. But fistula recurred after every surgery. I was suffering from fistula in Ano for last 10 to 12 years. Tried all kinds of treatments even surgery but the fistula did not cure. Finally after searching the web I came across Dr Ravinder Sharma. I visited his clinic. He assured me that it will be cured within 4-6 sittings. Kshar sutra was inserted on 15 Mar and changed weekly. Dr Sharma is very learned and experienced. I visited two reputed hospitals for more than two years but all invain. No relief at all. Wonderful experience with Ksharsutra Treatment of my mother who is 75 plus years old. Dr Ravinder Sharma explained every step very patiently and as my mother gets anxious very quickly she was always worried that it would pain . Dr. Ravinder was so helpful and professional in his job. Due to infection, my wife wasn’t even able sit properly. He supported emotionally and guided that how to tackle from this disease.
